The 3rd USBCCI Real Estate Expo 2026 was successfully held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the New York LaGuardia Airport Marriott, organized by the U.S. Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (USBCCI).
The day-long expo received an overwhelming response from the Bangladeshi-American community, attracting strong participation from real estate professionals, investors, business leaders, entrepreneurs, community leaders, first-time home buyers, and industry experts.
More than a hundred professionals from the real estate, mortgage, finance, legal, banking, investment, tax, insurance, and technology sectors participated in the event. The expo served as a valuable platform for networking, knowledge sharing, business connections, and real estate investment opportunities.
The main objective of the expo was to create awareness among the Bangladeshi diaspora about home buying, real estate investment, financial planning, and business networking in the United States. For many first-time home buyers, the expo worked as a “One-Stop Real Estate & Investment Platform,” where they received guidance from trusted professionals under one roof.
The Opening Ceremony featured distinguished guests and respected leaders from the business and real estate community, including Md Liton Ahmed, Founder President & CEO of USBCCI; Mark Jaffe, President & CEO of the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce; Ali Kocak, President of the Turkish American Chamber of Commerce and Industry USA; Rao A.; Shaan Khan, President of the Long Island Board of REALTORS®; and other respected community and industry leaders.
During the opening ceremony, Md Liton Ahmed, Founder President & CEO of USBCCI, said:
“Today’s expo proves that Bangladeshi-Americans are becoming more aware and interested in real estate, investment, and business growth. USBCCI has always been working to support community economic empowerment, entrepreneurship development, and stronger business relations between Bangladesh and the United States.”

He further added that the expo was not only a business event, but also an effective platform for building wealth, increasing investment knowledge, and creating long-term economic opportunities for the next generation of the community.
Throughout the day, several important panel discussions were held on key topics related to the current real estate market. The sessions included “AI Advantage: Tech Tools That Close Deals Faster,” where experts discussed the role of artificial intelligence, digital marketing, smart lead generation, and technology in the real estate industry.
Another important session, “Market Pulse 2026: Rates, Deals & What’s Next,” focused on market conditions, interest rates, housing demand, investment opportunities, and real estate trends for 2026.
The session titled “Faith & Finance: Halal Home Loans & Legacy Planning” highlighted Shariah-compliant home financing, family wealth planning, and long-term financial security.
For first-time home buyers, the session “Keys to Your First Home: Insider Guide for New Buyers” provided practical guidance on credit scores, down payments, mortgage approval, first-time buyer programs, and the step-by-step process of purchasing a home.
Other sessions, including “Unlocking Inventory in Today’s Market” and “Fix & Flip, Legalizing Basements, New Build & Tax Strategies,” covered housing inventory challenges, property selection, potential investment areas, new construction, basement legalization, fix-and-flip projects, tax-saving strategies, and wealth-building opportunities.
The panel discussions featured experienced speakers, moderators, and industry professionals, including Shahed Islam, Mohammad Zaman, Tariq Khan, Ambreen Faruqi, Michael Lagoudis, Michael Fong, Kevin Leatherman, Azadul Islam, Osman Malik, Sami Kabir, Adil Sadik, Amina Rashad, Faheem Hossain, Peter Carlin, Mohammad Rahman Shahin, Sardar M.
