The ‘USBCCI Business Expo-2022’, organized in the United States by the ‘US-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (USBCCI)’, has successfully ended on Sunday (September 25, 2022).

The expo was held at the Lagordia Marriott Hotel in New York, from last Friday (September 23) to Sunday (September 25) & this year’s theme was ‘Export-Import Opportunity for US-Bangladesh Sustainable Development’.

USBCCI Business Expo is a B2B trade show, conference, and networking event. It aims to help US and Bangladeshi traders to expand their export-ready products to international markets. More than 200 delegates and stakeholders from both countries participated in the expo. In addition to expanding their business to each other’s countries, businessmen can also discover opportunities to deliver their products to the global market and create huge market for their goods and services in this expo.

Successful businessmen who participated in this three-day expo shared their success stories and experiences. Apart from this, there was a lot of discussion on how to spread the business brand globally through this expo.

 

 

The program of the first day of the expo consisted of registration, opening ceremony, guest speeches and various sessions. Besides, US-Bangladesh Trade and Investment Summit session was held on that day. The first day’s program ended with the distribution of awards.

There was a special seminar on Cyber Security on Day 2 of the Expo (September 24). Besides, workshops were conducted on Innovation, Leadership and Technology. Seminar on ‘How to Start Your Own Software Development/Business’ was also organized. A discussion titled ‘UNGA Sideline Conference 2022 on Branding Bangladesh: NRB, UN Peacekeeping’ was held on the second day of the expo as well.

There were two seminars, held on the last day (September 25) of the USBCCI Business Expo-2022. These were- Commercial Lending Real Estate Investment Seminar-2022 and Business Solutions for Business Owner by New York Life.

USBCCI President Liton Ahmed said, “The ‘USBCCI Business Expo-2022’ is one of our signature events. It’s an opportunity to develop and expand business networks through this expo. One of the responsibilities of our organization is to serve the small & medium business so that they can expand.”

He also said, “This year’s expo has given us new impetus. We have tried to introduce new elements of business. We have got new ideas on how to deal with challenging times of business. I hope this expo will be memorable to us.”

 

He added, “We had a three-day event here. There were many experienced businessmen, agencies, and organizations. They shared their business ideas and advice. I believe it will play an important role for business promotion. The expo featured workshops on various topics including technology, tourism & international affairs which are also important for business development.”
